Indeed you have done it justice. It reminds me that I have some photos of logs and stumps ... I tried to create works of art a few years ago with these images, but failed. Since then I have learnt a few things so perhaps I might resurect them. By the way I haven't completely given up on the sunset. I painted this afternoon and had a hint of one. Much better. However, it is a similar one to my latest so I thought I'd wait until I have another image before another post.
