SAA Photo painting exercise.

From where I am sitting, I can;t really think of any criticism .... You've captured the light effect you get from looking out from darkness to a lake/sea brilliantly! The rest works too.

This is really good Peter, all the pebbles and water are excellent especially the water over the pebbles, lovely trees and greenery on the banks as well

WOW ! That was my first reaction especially as I was looking at the picture in the magazine yesterday. This is so like the magazine pic. I didn't at first realise it was a painting. I had thoughts about trying it but doubt if my version would be anything like this. It really is so good.

Your interpretation Peter is very much like the photograph. Hard to tell them apart. It is extremely realistic and your grasses and foliage are more muted than in my version. I think I prefer yours!.
