First an apology – I accidentally deleted the photo of this work which I had put in an exhibition – the work was sold at the preview evening and I had no alternative but to use my phone to record an image – hence the poor quality and strange angle. The work is painted from a photograph of a relative wearing and old lace blouse & jewellery formerly belonging to her great grandmother. As usual I have used W&N Griffin alkyd oil on a 60cm x 40cn stretched canvas set in a dark mahogany effect tray frame.
