This is Holly - a young beagle - painted from a photograph in alkyd oil on a 16" x 12"canvas then mounted in a tray frame handmade from Scottish redwood finished with a natural beeswax. The photo was taken at a local agricultural show with a lot of "green wellied" feet showing behind her s, using some artistic licence, I moved her to a more open setting.
