Hi Trevor another great painting. Love the eyes. I'm a dog person myself but that cat could change my mind!

You see, we are all dog people really - but we cannot resist those cats eyes!! You did make me laugh about the addictive Alkyd oil - I imagined you sniffing it. (strange because I don't know what you look like!)

I'm more a dog person too Jeannette - always had a dog till recently - poor thing got too old & I can't face the thought of taking another one through all the house training business etc - my daughter has two cats - dogs have soft & loveable eyes - soppy & sentimental - cats have mysterious, hypnotic eyes - BTW e-mailed photo so you can put face to name.

Love this Trevor especially as I have four cats of my own, am just finishing one in pastel which I will post later

Lovely glassy eyes Trevor, your cat portraits are gorgeous I love cats and dogs but am only "allowed "dogs as my OH hates cats with a passion (he really dosn't know what he's missing). BTW why not consider a rescue dog?..................... already pre trained?
