Restricted palette working well; I don't think I've hear of Andrew Hucklesby, but will look him up.

Went to exhibition and demo's recently. Really went to see Steve Hall, but there was another artist who's name I didn't know. He's probably very well known, but being a relative newbie means I'm also new to the artist's. Andrew Hucklesby is now the latest artist to join my 'Favourites' list. He painted a beach scene with a pink house on a hill with lots of dry brushwork in foreground. I've chosen a muddier 'tides out' scene. I also think that, apart from the odd blob here and there, his painting was done with three colours....Ultramarine, Light Red and Raw Sienna. I've done the same
