Being a Lancashire fan it's surprising I haven't drawn James Anderson before. I guess I didn't get the right shot of him, this one I really like, taken at a recent warm up game for Lancashire. He has such an iconic bowling action that I thought I'd play around with it. I kept the detail to the absolute minimum, just hinting here and there. My main focus was movement, by taking out a lot of what is moving and creating a suggestion the mind is able to fill in the blanks much more satisfactorily than drawing every detail.
