After obsessively working to learn botanical watercolour I am finally able to show some of my work. I have received lots of advice as Botanical Artists are such lovely people, which I needed. Thinking I could easily switch mediums was crazy, particularly a medium as unforgiving as watercolour. But I am starting to get my head around washes and the strict guidelines of Botanical Art (there shouldn't be a shadow for a start) but I can't wait to do my next one.
