ORIGINAL SOLD. There are many special moments in a game of cricket, the fall of wickets are always significant, a conflicting emotion for both batsman and bowler. However, the final wicket is always a key moment and the pinnacle of key moments is the final wicket which seals the fate of the Ashes. This is an impression of the final wicket falling at the Trent Bridge Test 2015 which returned the Ashes to England. I deliberately kept the likeness of the batsman as vague so it is representative of any final wicket in any cricket match. It is completed in vine charcoal with white pastel highlights and red conte pastel for the ball, the surface is high quality Strathmore grey toned drawing paper.
