I worked hard at trying to create movement by lots of scraping off in the direction of the movement. The last painting I applied extra paint with a palette knife to create movement at the end which was more dramatic, but I didn't like it, it felt too gimicky. I feel that I want to paint the movement not just add it at the end. I also tried to ensure there was a clearer shadow side and light side.
