The third time I've drawn two magpie feathers, they are popular. These two were collected from my garden last summer. I enjoy drawing realistically from time to time, it reminds me to focus on what I can see in front of me. I tape the feathers to my drawing board in the arrangement I like and of course the good thing about feathers as opposed to other little botanical studies is that they don't wither. This piece is up for auction on my Twitter account.
