Betty
This is Betty, she's a sheep I photographed at one of my local walks. She was very fascinated by my dog Charlie, so fascinated that she brought along a little snack to munch on whilst watching him. She is drawn in charcoal on Arches watercolour paper 16 x 12" with pastel grass. I added water to the charcoal powder left over from sharpening to create a paint. It's the first time I've painted with charcoal, I've been itching to have a go. I found it brilliant, it looks like ink yet you can manipulate it once it has dried, lift it off etc.
