Does this mean you don't use brushes at all? I don't know how you paint the foliage if thats the case, but however you do it, the end product is great.

Hi William and thank you very much for the comments. I will try to create a video the next landscape teaspoon painting I do. No brush work or other tool was used to create this. Thanks again, Paul.

Brilliant! Im off to the kitchen...

I like this one Paul, very much. Well spooned

Ha Ha Keith nice one, thanks very much for the comment :)

Thank you Charles much appreciated comments. LOL ; )

This might sound facetious but which end did you use, or did you use both ends? Terrific effect whichever !

Hi Brenda I used the spoon end for 99% of the work. Thank you very much for the comments : )

Who needs brushes if you can use a spoon! I think that your painting is ever so good but how on earth do you paint the water with a spoon and get such a flat surface? Do you use different sizes and forms or is it just the one?? I must try it. Well done!

Hi Satu, thanks very much for your comments. I only used a normal Welsh teaspoon for the whole painting. Ha Ha no clean up time or water etc makes more time to enjoy painting ; ) It is not the fastest method to use for application lol.

Very nice. I tried with those silcone spatula things a few times.... but went back to brushes.... I supose a tea spoon has zero give in it, which would make it like a very stiff painting knife. How thick is your application here - looks quite....?

Hi Ade, yes the teaspoon has no give in it at all. It does make a very different painting tool than a knife. The application of acrylic varies from thick to thinner, the finished work has a lot of surface texture. Thank you for the comments Ade, much appreciated :)

I love the effect, great painting!

Thank you very much Petra : )

Never heard of painting with a spoon before but it obviously works. Nice painting.

Thank you very much John. I wanted to create a more impressionistic painting so I started using a teaspoon to try attain this effect. : )

I wish that I had spotted this painting months ago. It's brilliant. All the comments have also had me in stitches. You really sparked everyone's interest! I can imagine people raiding the cutlery drawers for inspiration......

Hi Catherine and thanks for the great comments! Ha ha, its all about trying new avenues of creating works. Thanks again, Paul.
