Not sure if you've done justice to it Pat but it really is a superb painting which I am sure gave you much pleasure in painting as it did me in looking at it. .

Oil on canvas 30 x 25 cm. Painted last week from the chalet I stayed at in the French Alps. It's painted with a palette knife - I got up early at 7 on 3 consecutive mornings and painted for an hour before breakfast. This was the view just as the light started to come over the mountains on to the small village below. Wonderful scene that I haven't fully done justice to.
