I like it a lot. I like the way the sky and the sea almost mirror each other and a limited amount of colours unifies the whole thing really well.

Great palette in this - I admire you for all that glazing and varnishing - thin I'll stick to watercolours.

Great painting Pat. North Norfolk is full of such inspiring subjects and you have captured the essence of the area realy well.

Oil on Board 24" x 30". Lovely evening on the North Norfolk Coast when I sketched this scene last year. I used a large brush and only 5 colours for the painting. I started painting it on Monday and finished it yesterday - about 3 coats of paint for most areas and it dried overnight in the warm weather this week. I'll leave it now for a couple of weeks, then may give it a unifying glaze before a temporary varnish.
