I painted this yesterday when this garden was open under the National Gardens Scheme - a beautiful large garden, though I haven't done it justice. There was so much choice of what to paint, with lots of visitors who chatted to me as I painted. Really enjoyable but a bit stressful painting outdoors. Not quite finished, I'll look at it next week again and no doubt change it a bit. 16" X 12". I might do it again on a larger canvas which helps me avoid being too detailed.
