Well I think this is great Pat. The yellow/green of the vase and what looks like reflection in middle of it. Lovely flower work shown up by the dark background, lovely!

This is beautiful work, Pat! I love the textures and the impasto effect created by the knives - gives almost a 3D sense of space.

This is a very interesting painting. Even looking at the photo, the good use of texture is apparent. You are good at varying the texture in just the right way. I bet it looks even better in "real life".

Oil on small canvas. Mostly palette knife on this. Still needs an oil glaze as the dark background has sunk in and looks dull. I enjoy working with a knife but my technique is a bit clumsy - I maybe need a few more knives and a lot more practice..
