They are Pat but you can call this a success

I'm the same Pat, find them really difficult. I remember Alwyn Crawshaws tip for drawing and painting boats use the figure 8, but on it's side. Look it up, may help, I always start off that way. This is a smashing scene with your jolly boats, give a real seaside feel.

This is very beautiful I don't care two hoots if the boats are straight it just has a great arty feel Pat and I think you should go along this route lovely work indeed.

You have tackled a very complicated scene here Pat with so many boats in different positions but the result is delightful and it has got the seaside happy factor. Well done!

Oil miniature on Board. Took over an hour to draw and finish this little painting during this lovely weather at the weekend. I find boats are very difficult to both draw and paint.
