Beautiful, the copper kettle is perfectly rendered, what a size for a watercolour!, you are very skilled indeed.

This copper kettle is very eye catching. What colours do you blend to make this copper colour?

Thanks so much for your comments. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, but you know how it is, things happen. . . I painted this some time ago and as far as the colour go I am pretty sure quinacridone gold and quinacridone burnt orange were very important. For the very dark areas of the copper, I may have used a bit of perylene maroon rather than alizarin plus a tiny little bit of dioxazine purple.

Wow, I do love this watercolour. Still life is so difficult to achieve ! You got it to perfection. So very well done !
