I painted the view that then existed of Porthmadog Harbour from the Ffestiniog Railway Harbour Station 'down' platform in response to The Artist Magazine Plein Air Postcard Competition in 2010. Since then additional platforms have been built in order to accommodate extra locomotive traffic, including big sets belonging to the Welsh Highland Railway.
