"Boathouses" by Jo Morton
I'm still finding 'historical' images from way back, and what a pleasure it is! This would be the view which Arthur Ransome enjoyed as he sat in the lounge bay window at Bank Ground Farm, Coniston, composing the start of the "Swallows and Amazons" adventures! This is the view I was permitted to draw before the barn was remodelled into holiday accommodation! © Jo Morton 1992
