Commissioned piece painted on canvas in acrylic in the studio, from references including my own photographs and sketches made on location. Numerous obstacles presented themselves, not least being the imposition of a total ban of countryside visitor footfall during the foot and mouth epidemic! However, I was really pleased with the end result, as it takes me back to this lovely spot near Cockermouth, in the Northern Lakes, Cumbria, when I look at it! Copyright: Jo Morton 2013
