Hi Sian, ah yes! that can be an issue if using slightly more opaque paint, but I must say that you have done a tremendous job of bringing the painting to life (particularly without the initial drawing). And I'm interested in your use of playing cards. Ive never tried them so might nick that idea ha ha! Many thanks Glyn

Thank you, Fred, Derek, Glyn. I bend the playing card double to get a thicker edge and tear off a bit to make a shorter strip.

Sian Harrisong sent in her version of Glyn's City Streets challenge saying: 'Thank you very much Glyn for providing this. I have never done anything like it before and it was most enjoyable. I did spend some time on an initial drawing as you suggested but, as soon as I put my first acrylic paint on, the pencil marks disappeared! All the paint was mixed on and applied with old playing cards. '
