Ruby Barrington sent in her version of Paul's exercise saying: 'I am 12 years old. The board was underpainted with blue and purple and then I gessoed the house and pebbles with bubble wrap and a large palette knife. First I painted the pebbles when the thick gesso had dried.with brown all over then dabs of colours. The house was next then the sky. I put a lot of paint on for the grass then used the side of a feather to brush it up. I used a white pen for the windows.My grandmother says it looks windy!'
