Gillian Shaw sent in her version of Paul's challenge saying: 'In this watercolour I used wet in wet for the bulk of the large trees and hedgerow. Previously I put in a few marks in the foreground with a plain wax candle to suggest light grasses /flowers. I emphasized the sunny distant field with a hard edge to the far woods and furthest shadow. Dry brush on tree edges/trunks'
