Another super snow scene ; the warm and cold contrast, fading in the distance, is really attractive.

Philip Montgomery sent in his version of Paul's challenge saying: ''Snow Scene' was painted on Daler Rowney mixed media paper at A5 in watercolour. I used burnt umber for my warm and winsor blue for my cool which together give a good dark when required. I washed in a mixture of these colours to isolate and reserve my lights. The barbed wire was drawn with a white ink pen. I used a wash of raw sienna on the dark but sunlit wall and touched in highlights of naples yellow which I regret!'
