Pauline Stephenson sent in her version of Paul's shoreline exercise saying: 'I underpainted the board with ultramarine, brilliant red and gamboge and then the sky was finger painted with light blue, white and ultramarine. I used a large brush for the building using brilliant red mixed with red ochre and a white pen. The grass was stippled using pthalo green, light green and deep turquoise. I stipple brushed the pebbles using grey, gamboge, Naples yellow, red ochre and white.'
