Wendy Ellis has sent in her version of Paul's first exercise which she completed on canvas board using texture paste, earth colours plus white, hanza yellow and phthalo blue. Wendy used layers of pure colour, over texture, and then dry brush over high points. Mainly flat synthetic brush with a small plastic marker. Some glazing with a thin solution of phthalo blue acrylic and sepia acrylic ink.
