Annette Scholfield sent in her version of Paul's shoreline exercise saying: 'I put texture paste on the canvas, applied a wash which you can see in the pebbles. The pebbles are a mixture of burnt sienna, ultramarine, buff titanium then I would wipe it to expose previous layers. The building I used alizarine,ultramarine and burnt sienna, then I scrapped out the windows and printed the window features all with a credit card. The grey sky was ultramarine, zinc white and a touch of burnt sienna (I can thank the forum for that tip,no black and white mix) and a quick splatter over the pebbles and grass.'
