Derek Snowdon sent in his version of Paul's exercise saying: 'I chose a night scene with the shore line washing up the beach. 20 x 28 cms on rough watercolour paper. All with expired credit/debit cards apart from odd marks with black brush pen and white acrylic pen. Foreground in dribbled and smeared gesso, then droplets of ink and paint smudged with a tissue.'
