A terrific take on the subject, I just don't think brave enough like that and wish I could. Smashing.

Refreshingly different Fiona. Love it!

Wow! Great stuff!

Wow, that's a bobby dazzler, that'll brighten up any grey day. Great stuff.

This is super, Fiona, love,it.

I'm brave enough but I still didn't produce anything like this, excellent.

Love the colours, so full of life.

Fiona Forbes took a brighter approach to Paul's exercise saying: 'I used fluorescent pink acrylic as a base layer over a discarded painting. As it's a translucent colour, the original image showed through. A few rough marks were made to indicate the brick wall, gate and trees. The grassy field and shadows were painted with loose brushwork and a palette knife to create texture. 7 colours plus white were used - phtalo blue (greenshade), light blue, phtalo turquoise, dioxazine purple, lemon yellow, golden yellow and permanent rose. Mixing some of the fluorescent pink with lemon yellow gave it a real zing. Using bright colours cheered up a dull January afternoon!'
