Wonderful Alan, I love the textured grasses in the foreground and the Windsor orange against the turquoise and blue has definitely given it the wow factor!

Another excellent attempt at the challenge Alan, fabulous foreground again. I think I like the first one over this one but they are both worthy of the prize.

Alan Bickley has sent in his second attempt at Paul's exercise - Acrylic on canvas 24 x 30'' - saying 'Painting this semi-abstract gave me the opportunity to experiment a little more with textures and colours, allowing me to experiment and develop a different look and design from my first attempt. I moved the farm to the right this time and kept everything simple, and of course I couldn't resist splashing a bit of Winsor Orange across the sky to give it that wow factor, I hope it worked'
