This painting captures the bright light that occurs on occasions in Scotland.

Superb painting Peter, the dominance of the mountains coupled with the sense of distance enhances the lonely wilderness of the scene.

I made this painting after a holiday in Skye in 1989. Glen Sligachan is a grand place, between the Red Cuillin on the left & the Black Cuillin range on the right, represented in this view by Sgurr nan Gillean.
