Full of character and slightly on the quirky side Elise. I like it.

It’s good Denise, the colour balance makes it work well.

It’s superb and beautifully done Denise.

Like it a lot!

You're so original - makes one want to spit! No, really: seriously good work. I've done some drawings, but haven't hauled the oils out this year yet; that's (leaving all else aside, though how can one?) a particularly beautiful and well painted green costume; you've caught a very quizzical expression there, too.

Very quirky subject and really well painted Denise.

Thanks very much Gudrun, Carole, John, Paul, Jiri, Robert and Tessa.

Terrific painting Denise

Love the subject matter and very well painted, Denise

Super work again Denise, a wonderfully painted character study.

What a great expression! Lovely work Denise

Great expression caught well. Could be Boy George

Like this a LOT!

Fabulous painting- you have captured a great likeness Denise.

Excellent portrait Denise.

Nice job Denise, some good subtle changes of hues and tones in the face itself. I’m not overly keen on the model if I’m being completely honest, perhaps it’s the head gear and expression! I much prefer traditional model poses because that’s what I’m used to painting, but that’s me… you’re far more adventurous!

Much appreciated Russell, Thalia, Lewis, Frank, Martin, Heather, Shaun, Stephen and Alan.

Love this, Denise.

Excellent Denise.

Always challenging yourself Denise. Excellent.

A very striking figure and beautifully painted Denise.

Very characterful, especially like the eyes.

The sad clown - symbolic of the duality of life! Beautifully painted, Denise!
