That looks very good, Denise.

Looks really good and definitely has the traditional look to it lovely brush work Denise.

Nice dragon Denise.... must have a look for my brushes.

Looks pretty scary Denise. Nicely painted. You are a bit of a whizz with the Chinese brushes!

Great dragon Denise!

Many thanks David, Paul, Sylvia, Tessa and Sarah.

It IS scary Denise…but very well painted.

A very confident piece of work indeed Denise. Excellent.

Very well painted Denise.

Super Denise! What is it like to paint on rice paper? Is it easier on watercolour paper?

Love the design of this Denise. I imagine rice paper difficult to paint on.

Thanks very much Marjorie, Chris, Sarah and Linda. Linda, I find rice paper very difficult. Far more difficult than watercolour paper but I persevere with it and continue to practice.

Linda, you also have to develop control of the amount of paint you want to hold in the brush as the rice paper blots out immediately. Something I'm still learning through practice.

Thanks Carole, Linda has just been asking the very same. Yes, it is difficult.

Well done Denise. Chinese brush work is not easy.

Thanks Christine, yes you hold the brush differently and everything flows from the shoulder. It's difficult trying to get the hang of it. It's a different mindset.

Really good Denise. challenge well met

Very nicely done!

Great work with those brushes. I like your dragon.
