Good job Denise! I was drawing on black paper this week myself and found it quite a challenge, so I know how hard it is to get enough pigment on the paper to cover the black. Well done!

I wanted to practice Chiaroscuro today. I did a sketch of myself, I did it from an awful photo I had. It had virtually no shadow in it and I wanted to use it so I could use my imagination a bit. The photo was in colour but very bland. I wanted to try and add drama to something very bland. I didn't add much detail as it was done fairly quickly. White charcoal on black paper.
