You don't like it? Well - I suppose a marble is a marble, and maybe not an ideal subject in itself - is that, I wonder, why you don't like it? You've made the point, though: now you know how to do them - so a) an important learning experience, and b) there are so many still life subjects or studies in which you could include them. I think the whole thing is rather beautiful, but dissatisfaction with our work is maybe the one thing we ALL have in common. Painting or drawing transparent objects is an important skill to learn - and d'you know? - I think you've well and truly learned it!
