Sylvia Evans. Sorry that this painting makes you cry. That is what the painting is about. To evoke emotion and change. Situation in some African nations is so sad. The continent so rich and many of Africans are depravedly poor.

I've come across a lot of poverty as well as richness during my travel in Africa. This divide shocks me and I ask myself, how can it be?
