This has come out with too much yellow. Those shells shouldbe much darker orange.

Gosh I can why you say it takes so long with col pencil, such a lot of work in this. I like the composition very much and selection of colours.

Yes indeed. Between 6 and 12 layers in each shell. Each one takes about an hour. You'd never make money on CP paintings if you charged by the hour LOL

Great the way you've done the tones on the shells showing where the light hits them. Such a lot of work but worth it for the fantastic result.

Thanks Val. I'm just disappointed that it wouldn't take another layer to get more shadow on the right of the big shell although the green reflection of the other shell just does just show
