I’m going to retitle this exhibition painting from last year “London in Blue.” It really was those colours - the sky darkened further after the reference photo was taken and rains of Biblical proportions began. It all seems a bit prophetic now with London in lockdown. So I’ll just settle for it being a tribute in blue to the NHS - Guys Hospital where my daughter works is just off the picture to the right.
