Lovely and your comments made me smile, now you've said it that's what I can see too!

Beautifully painted

I really like your old building paintings Nick, and yes I see the two cats!

Great picture Nick.

Love this loose, expressive watercolour, full of interesting narrative Nick. Yes I can identify your comment about the cats.

Cats are special in this! Love it, Nick

Thanks for your kind words. Glad it’s not just me who can see cats.

Definitely two cats.

Captures the mood of the environment; excellent.

I, too, see 2 cats. Would love t know what the Japanese characters read.

The first two characters on the awning mean Sushi. The last character is so worn, I can’t make it out.

A lovely watercolour Nick, a fascinating place to live I should think. I'm sharing my laptop keyboard with our cat at the moment, so I'd say there's definitely two cats waiting there.

My daughter just came back from a visit to Japan. I told her about your beautiful, lyrical paintings. Your palette is exquisite. To match your drawing skills.

A watercolour painting on tinted paper. The two unpainted areas in front of the shutter doors, bottom right, were meant to be something else. They began to look like cats waiting patiently for someone to come out. Can anyone else see that, or is it just me?
