Wow! The old eyes, the lined skin and the experience on the face says it all. Wonderfully painted.

I had to read Brecht in the original German, many moons ago for my A levels and this portrait illustrates exactly the character I saw in my mind when reading it

I remember watching an TV program in Black and White days went on for weeks on Brecht has always fascinated me.

What a fantastic portrait, you can see the knowledge in those eyes, wonderful work.
