A really nice portrait I like the eyes and the skin tone, something I a struggling with, what colour pallet are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you Jeff. I struggle with skin tones too, mainly getting the correct values. For this one I started with a flesh toned paint (something I don't normally do) and added Naples yellow, Buff Titanium, cadmium red, vermillion and and a touch of ochre. I just mix Payne's Grey, Cerulean Blue and pthalo turquoise for shade. It's a bigger palette than I normally use as I like to keep it simple where I can.

Thanks Nathan, I have tried to keep it simple too but it just runs away with you, I currently am using Naples yellow, cad red, dark and med and ultra blue adding titanium white and black. I will certainly look at using Payne's grey and cerulean blue in the mix.

Lovely portrait Nathan.
