Thought provoking commentary and painting, like it a lot

Actually well before Christianity!

Thanks all means a lot ❤️

Amen to all you’ve said Nathan…..forgive the pun…lol. I like the way you have ‘blinded’ Eve, adding even more strength to the narrative….if you cannot see, you cannot be. Superb!

Great painting and the great narrative with it conveys your ‘whole’ artistic talent to me Nathan. Your art and narrative ‘speaks’ for a true artist.

This is fairly obviously when Eve supposedly took the apple from the serpent and damned all humanity. It's convenient that story says it was Eve that took the first bite and then Adam. It's how Christianity moved to remove power from women, by blaming them for the original sin. The sin that all humans still pay to this day, apparently. I painted her with an 'Instagram' type figure to reflect the unrealistic expectations of today's society upon women and men. The serpent tattoo is reaching for her heart.
