Lola by Nathan Jelbert
I'd fallen out of love with oil paints for a while now, so when I was asked to do this commission, I had a little trepidation. One, because I haven't used the medium in a while and the ones I had done in recent history I really wasn't happy with. Then add to the fact Lola here was the buddy of what I consider to be my best dog portrait, Jasper and that the finished piece would be hung alongside him, I did have my reservations.
