Time To Go Home by Nathan Jelbert

My kinds of meal (what a wonderful description) and a great painting to capture the moment.

Really well done.

I saw the title and immediately thought “ what? now?”.Then I read your comments and understood completely. Like this very much, how you’ve treated the glass ( slightly blurry ) and those lovely bits where the light catches the colour of the ( remains of) wine. A satisfying little still life ( in all respects😆).

Beautifully painted Nathan. The reflections on the glasses are superb.

Thank you everyone and belated happy New year to you all!

A few weeks ago my partner and I went out for my birthday. After a nice meal of ostrich, we hit the main reason why we left the house, drinks. I took this shot right at the end of the night when I was feeling pretty woozy. I tried to paint it in the way I was feeling at the time and I'm going to call it 'Time To Go Home'. And we did. For a gin.
