As night falls on the Maine coast

This really touches me – an amazing watercolor, Nancy!

This is so heavenly Nancy. Feel as if I’m up among the clouds waiting to see the pearly gates. Love the ethereal quality of this painting.

And Thalia and Heather, so generous with your comments. This is the beach where I spent summers as a kid, and also got married on this beach, 26 years ago this July. As I stand on the right side, looking across the rocks, way in the distance is Prout's Neck. Where Winslow lived and painted the last 20 some years of his life. I have been lucky to see his studio, walk his property and stand on the "his" rocks ! It is a beautiful magical place and wonderful part of Maine's coast.
