Thanks Jim! I am thinking about the white space above the head, needs something. A little more color (subtle) added to tree limbs, same palette as fur. I am afraid to touch the sky tho.

Good work, Nancy. The wolf has an ethereal look, so your 'spirit-like' idea has worked. I love the colours in the wolf's eyes. I'd be loathe to do anything with the white space above the head, I have too many paintings where doing 'one more thing' has ruined them. But that's just my opinion, maybe you're not so timid as me.

I thank you all for your kind comments and for the advice! I really need it. Perhaps I will keep the white space above head, Lewis, thanks. ( I think it is an interesting shape) I will put the lightest tint of color in a few trees. I am happy with the eyes, snout, thanks all.
