I sometimes drop paint into water but I never get results like this. Sorry to hear about your health problems last summer. It's amazing how many people start to enjoy life after have trauma in their lives. Enjoy your art and don't forget to share them with us Nancy.

Thank you so much Dennis and Adele,( my health has definitely improved!) [ the opera pink on top of some violet is awfully hot in the center.....it is just an experiment....It lifts my spirits on dull days or rainy ones....]

This is lovely Nancy...your previous work inspired me to have a go at loose washes but haven't achieved anything worth showing yet!

This is a little more brilliant and intense in color than the original, sorry for adjusting the saturation too much to compensate for my low light in photographing it.

After a recent workshop with Jean Haines, here in Seattle, I have been dropping paint on wet paper, and using lots of water to let the colors flow....this is just an experiment. Fun, and loose. Then I saw a few round blossoms, flowers inside, and created a little definition....
