The way the old roof sways up and down, hard to believe it is of stone or slate, it reminds me a bit of a Hobbit's home.....which I love. Again, playing with ideas, this is a draft. Watercolor, lots of spatter and wet into wet. There is a bit of pastel, but you can't really tell in the photo.....still sorting thru ideas....what to do? how to achieve what is in my head and make this awesome 1300's building come to life in a painting ? ideas?
